On June 26, 2013 over 7,500 HOSA members, advisors, and healthcare professionals from around the nation arrived in Nashville, Tennessee for the 36th National HOSA Leadership Conference. The Gaylord Opryland Hotel was the site of 56 competitive events, 62 educational symposia, HOSA University, scholarship, and networking opportunities for the 200 delegates from Utah, including the four delegates from Timpview High School.
Timpview HOSA excels at the national level. Parker Christensen, Senior, earned First Place in Extemporaneous Speaking, a speech he created with the conference theme, “HOSA: Build a Better You!” Parker has been a HOSA member for three years, served as the Utah HOSA State Parliamentarian, and currently is the Timpview Student Body President.
