Join other wine enthusiasts for a tasting of Geelong’s finest Shiraz and Syrah varieties along with an informative class led by Hooke.
The structured class will also be attended by the Geelong region’s best winemakers who will be happy to share their passion of their wines during the evening.
For over 30 years, Hooke has worked with wine, widely known for his reviews and notes.
He chairs Australia’s Wine List of the Year, is the founding chairman of the Boutique Wine Awards, and judges 10 competitions each year across Australia, New Zealand, Italy, England, Canada, Chile, Belgium, Japan, Slovenia, South Africa and others.
Huon is no stranger to events like the one planned in Geelong, hosting regular tastings, dinners, and wine appreciation courses.
He has also co-authored the Penguin Good Australian Wine Guide, and penned many other wine books.
