Nomos Glashütte just presented a brand new model called Lambda - the Greek letter also used in mathematics as the symbol for "intrinsic values"- to suggest the quality values of this minimalist timepiece.
The beautiful 42 mm case is available in rose or white gold. Height is just 8.9 mm.
The white silver-plated dial is very essential in the typical Nomos style but, in this case, the large power reserve indicator in the upper half adds something new and different.
The in-house built calibre DUW 1001 with manual winding has 29 stones, six of them in polished screwed gold chatons, and a double barrel providing the 84 hours of power reserve. The sapphire crystal glass back allows the owner to enjoy the swan neck fine adjustment, the beautiful fine sunbeam polishing and the hand-engraved balance cock.
A precious strap in Horween Shell Cordovan leather, hand sewn and rembordé, completes the timepiece.
