Nic Garnett, a consultant in Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property group, will be a speaker at a British Chamber of Commerce Thailand presentation on “Thailand’s Computer Crime Act—An Update on the Law, Your Liability, and Solutions.” The Computer Crime Act, initially passed in 2007, has raised many important questions for business owners about their compliance obligations. Relying on his years of experience representing major online content service providers and rights holders in the licensing of exploitation rights, Nic will provide an overview of some of the legal issues raised by the Computer Crime Act.
The event will take place at the British Business Centre on Wireless Road, Bangkok, from 6.00 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. on March 18. Nic will be joined by another speaker, and their talks will be followed by a panel session with three panelists. If you would like to learn more, please visit the BCCT website.
