This shower had been leaking for a long time, the customers brought the house off a builder who had done it up (bodged it up more like, the house was unsafe from the electrics). The customer had said they thought the shower tray had dropped which it had about an inch, the reason was the water had rotted the timbers underneath. Customer wanted to keep original tray and enclosure which was a bit of a mare! We found the enclosure had been tiled over otherwise it didn't fit so unfortuantly wehad to do the same which made it more of a pain trying to tile inside the enclosure!

View attachment 4693 The stud wall had got soaked as well making a right mess we replaced part of the stud work and added more noggins! The other two walls were solid walls.

View attachment 4695My new base made out of blocks and cemented in place (this ensuite was on a ground floor) The walls were left to dry out, strange how damp they were even though the shower hadn't been used for months!
