Firstly, I would like to apologize for the delay in responding to this situation and allowing it to get messy! I did get a full explanation from Krug a few days back and after giving it careful consideration I have decided that there is a clear 'conflict of interest' that I cannot allow to continue.
Contrary to the popular belief of KMF members, I do visit the forum almost everyday and it pains me to see a rift growing between members on the performance boards - my reluctance to 'interfere' is down to my own belief that 'they all have the same interest at heart, they'll sort it amicably in the end', sadly, I under-estimated the depth of this rift until today.
Before I announce my decision on a way forward in this matter, I would like to briefly mention another 'pending' issue ....
I have recently been contacted by JTN, a Plusnet company that holds the registration details of tierce-de-picardie.co.uk - it appears that in the light of strong competition they have deemed it necessary to 'pull the plug' and close down ... below is a copy of the email with suggested options available to me as the owner of TDP ...

We are writing to let you know that as of 1st July 2017 Just the Name will be closing. Please be aware this means that any domains you currently have registered with us must be moved to another provider before this date.
We kindly advise you not to wait until your domain is due to expire. All domains you have registered with us need to be moved before 1st July 2017.

Once Just the Name has closed, you will no longer have access to the online portal to be able administer any changes to your domain.
We are no longer accepting new domain registrations or renewing any domain name registrations so if you know your domain name is due for renewal before 1st July 2017 please move your service to an alternative domain registrar before it expires.

Now, the TDP domain is not due for renewal until November 2018 which means that I will need to go through the process of finding a new home for the TDP domain (I hasten to add at this point, we are not talking about the site data hosting here - this is simply about the registration of the domain name (tierce-de-picardie.co.uk) which directs us all to the forum at the host company).
What have I decided to do? Well this was an easy one - I will be making arrangements for the transfer of the domain and have requested support in order to do so.
Back to the Challenge Board ... I have already made my position quite clear on this, members are free to post either new or archived material in order to take part in a musical challenge - for members to be subjected to a set of rigid and quite frankly unnecessary rules on a forum that is supposed to be fun is, in my opinion, way over the top .... especially when those 'rules' actually stop other members from posting and enjoying what the forum has to offer .... it is completely unacceptable!
Those of you that know me will be aware of my thoughts on 'banning' users - so I have no intentions of banning anyone, however, there is clearly a conflict of interest here with recent formation of the Practical Organ and Keyboard Players group by our challenge board 'moderators' ... with the migration of several KMF members to the new group is clear sign that it is doing us no favours.
I am sure that the facebook group was formed with good intentions and with no ulterior motives in mind ... but, evidently it is having an adverse effect on the TDP membership.
I am taking back the control and will be moderating the challenge boards myself from now on ... I can't promise that I will be posting any tunes myself as I haven't played an instrument of any kind for the best part of 12 months - I just have no interest in playing at all ...
As I said earlier, I won't be asking anyone to choose where to post and I wont be banning anyone - but feel free to 'move-on' if you don't think you can live with my views on the matter!
Now, get back to doing what your best at ... posting music for other people to enjoy
