Tiombe Lockhart (Single Release Party!)

Lockhart was previously in the band Cubic Zirconia and "Can't Get Enough" is her first release since their album Follow Your Heart (Fools Gold Records). Fader has previously said of her ""Whether channeling Josephine Baker or evoking Toni Morrison, (Lockhart is) emerging as an awesome subversive forcer, were psyched to see where this goes."

Atlanta native Lockhart is based in NYC by way of Los Angeles. While studying vocal Jazz at New School she began performing all over the city with the likes of
Robert Glasper and Bilal. She went on to be a featured artist on Platinum Pied Pipers' classic soul/hip hop album Triple P which Entertainment Weekly gave an "A" and said in its' review, "drunk-happy love letter 'I Got You,' featuring jazzy belle Tiombe Lockhart, is a soon-to-be cult soul classic." The album was pegged "Album of the Year" by BBC Radio 1's "Worldwide" Show (Giles Peterson). With PPP, Tiombe played Coachella, The Montreal Jazz Festival, opened for ?uestlove and Mark Ronson and Roy Ayers at New York Summerstage, and throughout the US and Europe.

After the success of PPP Tiombe decided to strike out on her own with her self released a project, "Queen of Doom". After meeting Mohawke outside of Nu Blu (East Village nightclub in NY) the two collaborated on a remix for her project and he continues to work with her today including on "Can't Get Enough."

Wanting to experiment further with her music she began working with Todd Weinstock (Glassjaw/Men Women and Children) and Nick Hook (Men Women and Children) and later on Daud Sturdivant. They formed the "ethnic disco" band Cubic Zirconia. Known for their wild live shows and lyrical tales of New York night life. Cubic Zirconia performed at Giles Peterson's Worldwide Show, performed all over Europe and North America with, among many others, A$AP Mob, Diplo, Juicy J, Kid Cudi, James Blame and Major Lazer.
