(ThyBlackMan.com) Recently World Changers Ministries where Creflo Dollar is Pastor released an infomercial and a request for “believers” to give a total of over $60 million dollars so they could buy a new Gulfstream Jet. Apparently the old jet has worn out and “Pastor needs a brand new jet”. So blow on the dice in the deceived hearts who will give towards it. Are you freakin kidding me? Here is a “tough” question. Which one is more stupid than the other one – the pastor and ministry believing they cannot effectively spread the Gospel without a new jet or thee people who send money so they can buy one? It’s a trick question because both actions are nonsense. Come on people, let’s think and not be gullible. In fact, in the next several paragraphs I am going to exam this whole issue and whether it is even godly or not.

Romans 16:18 King James Bible

For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

The Bible warns against the leaven of the Pharisees (Matthew 16:6, 16:11-12, Mark 8:15, Luke 12:1). The Bible tells believers to be in the world but not of it. The God of the Bible tells the children of God not to be conformed to this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. That simply means we should not think like the world, act like the world or desire what the world wants. The Bible tells us to place our treasures in Heaven, not in a hangar at an airport terminal. There may be a mansion waiting with streets of gold in Heaven, but for now, Christ said he became poor that we might become rich – these riches being in spiritual things. Maybe Pastor Dollar could name the jet “spiritual things” and slip through on a technicality – no I don’t think so. And Dollar is completely ignoring what the Bible said about placing our treasures in Heaven, not on Earth (Matthew 6:20). He won’t call a 65 million dollar jet a treasure because that would make it too easy to spot a violation of scripture. So he will call it a tool of ministry, yeah that sounds better. But his request, his wasteful spending and attempt to use others shows a poor understanding and a misapplication of scripture – Pastor or not.

OVER TEN YEARS AGO IN ATLANTA I TOLD PASTOR DOLLAR ONE-ON-ONE THAT HE DID NOT UNDERSTAND GOD’S PROSPERITY AND BALANCE AS TAUGHT IN THE SCRIPTURES. This conversation took place over lunch on Old National Highway, about 3 miles from his church. I also had the same conversation with the then head of his New Members classes and one of his financial teachers wwho knew about as much about Christian finances as my shoe. But Dollar’s personal motivation to stay away from poverty and the corrupt unbalanced moneychanger mentors he has followed/emulated have now made his trip to the dark side all but complete. I remember when he was handing out flyers at West Georgia College. I also remember when he lived in the apartments off Campbelton Road with his wife and how much he hated poverty. This jet does not even scratch the surface regarding warped personal agendas. You have no idea. A great many articles are coming out about this but I AM ONE OF THE FEW PEOPLE WRITING THE TRUTH WHO HAS SPOKEN TO DOLLAR DIRECTLY AND ATTEMPTED TO CORRECT OR RESTORE HIM FROM HIS MISGUIDED VIEWS AND INCORRECT INTERPRETATIONS OF SCRIPTURE (Galatians 6:1).

A private jet is not a necessity President Dollar – opps, I meant Pastor Dollar. And especially not while there are people at World Changers who need jobs, help with rent and help with their bills. Do they get a jet or can they take it on mission trips as well or can they even ride in it? If they don’t, (and I know they didn’t with the last jet), then the jet does not belong to the church nor the Kingdom – it belongs to Creflo Dollar. If the jet belongs to Creflo Dollar and he uses it exclusively, it is his dollars that should pay for it.

Christ, Elijah, Moses, Abraham and the 12 Apostles did so much with so little. It was the power of God through willing vessels that created the ripple effect of God’s message. It was not how fast Christ made it overseas in a jet. Then why do some ministries today think they need so much to help complete the mission? Today there are TV stations, internet, radio, satellite, cars, trucks and even first class seats on Delta. But that appears not to be enough for Pass-The Dollar, I mean Pastor Dollar, to effectively spread the Gospel. Christ is the blueprint for the church, His church. So I would ask Pastor Dollar what is wrong with the blueprint that you cannot do it the way He did? Are some pastors covertly rewriting the Gospel and transforming Christ into a man who thinks like them?

What’s wrong with flying first class on a commercial airline and setting a humble example? A private jet has all kinds of expenses. Fuel just to take one trip across the country is more than many people make in a year. A pilot or co-pilot make six figures – thus the salary for the two of them could create middle class jobs for 7 people. Then there is maintenance, storage fees, insurance and alot of other expenses. All of that money could go towards the unpopular mission of feeding the hungry, clothing the naked and sheltering the homeless. The hundreds of thousands of dollars spent on the jet or related to it could build battered women’s shelters and more job training centers. But I guess a jet is much more important so Creflo Dollar can avoid the awful human fate of waiting for a Delta flight to leave the airport. I guess Dollar is rewriting the manual (Bible) on outreach and replacing those “irritating” ideas of scripture like feeding the hungry, clothing the naked and sheltering the homeless. Just because someone says “Jesus“, that does not mean they are preaching and living the gospel. And what does the Bible say about those who do what Dollar is doing?

Romans 16:18 King James Bible

For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

The idea that the Christian community / the church should finance and sponsor one pastor’s private jet over the other mandates and directives from God is not supported by the Bible. This is one man’s quest and not even a need. These are not even the desires of one’s heart, they are the desires of one’s flesh. Christ could spread the Word on foot but Pastor dollar cannot find a way without a jet? While Dollar (the appropriate name) gets richer, flamboyantly mismanages money that he is a steward over and spends millions that do not have to be spent, it sets a bad example. But sadly there are those who are deceived and they will send in money to this Profit. The Bible tells us to be careful of those who with smooth speech deceive the minds of the simple (Romans 16:18). But if unsuspecting naive suckers keep making excuses for Dollar and other pastors like this, Dollar and others will keep getting away with sticking their hand Christ’s treasury bag and stealing money just like Judas.

I don’t have time or space in this article to talk about false teachings and wolves in sheep’s clothing, but it is clear that we will know a spirit by its fruit (Matthew 7:16, 7:20). I am not saying Christians should walk around broke and destitute, but excess and waste with what belongs to Christ’s church is clearly not what Christ taught. It is another gospel and another Jesus being presented to you by Creflo Dollar.

Galatians 1:6-7 says (King James Bible)

I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

II Corinthians 11:3-4 says (King James Bible)

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

God has given us the power to get wealth to establish His kingdom by confirming His covenant, not the Dollar kingdom (Deut. 8:18). Yet hundreds of thousands of people are being deceived because they do not know enough about the Bible to see where Dollar is wrong. Others just want to have faith in him and they are swayed by his skillful use of words, excuses, reasoning and scripture. Therefore they will not even objectively check what he teaches in light of the scriptures. Once people want to believe a person, it is very hard to erase the indoctrination or brainwashing that holds them in bondage. I work with this type of deprogramming every week.

One thing is certain, flamboyant, extravagant, wasteful and deceptive practices to do what the world does are neither what Christ taught, nor how He lived, nor what He died for. It’s His church and the money of the Kingdom is not for misuse by Creflo Dollar. This is a wake -up call for the church to police its own and just like God brought down Eddie Long, exposing him for what he was, so shall the corrupt who cover mammon with a fake cloak of spirituality fall.

If you are a member of World Changers, i would tell you to correct your brother taken in a fall – but you won’t be able to. Pastor Dollar has gotten too powerful to be corrected by “mere mortals“. So I will suggest what I suggest to my clients who have been used and abused by ministers. Leave and fast before the false doctrine drags you and your checkbook down with it.
