Living in the Northwest we have so many wonderful options for budget friendly or cheap weekend getaways. Within driving distance we can see the mountains, wine country, beaches, and city getaways. We have access to family vacations, romantic escapes, outdoor vacations or urban site seeing. Plus, you can do many of these things on a budget too!

Here are our favorite picks this week, for some great deals you can get on Pacific Northwest Getaways. Be sure to bookmark this page (or pin it to your travel board here) as we will be updating it weekly (each Thursday) with new ideas!

Seattle Area Hotels (Washington):



Great Wolf Lodge Packages starting at $129!  Groupon is back with their very popular Great Wolf Lodge deal.  You can get a deal for a family of 4 for lodging & water park tickets as low as $129.00! Wow – that’s an awesome deal!  They have dates available through the end of June,  so this would be a great idea for a mid-week treat this spring or treat for after school gets out for the year .Dates will sell out quickly at the $129 rate. I’d buy your Groupon quickly, though, if you’re interested as the lowest priced offers usually do sell out pretty fast! There are only weekday rates available.  Click here for more information!



Book a 2-Night Stay for Up to Six on San Juan Island, WA starting at $125/nt!  The Roche Harbor Resort is a historic grounds, with President Theodore Roosevelt having stayed tehre in the past as a guest of a lawyer named John McMillin.  You’ll find old photos all across the property along with many modern amenities such as caviar facials in the spa, onsite dining, and more.  Check-in is only available Monday through Wednesday and you must stay for two nights.  Choose between a one-bedroom condo, a two-bedroom condo, or a historic cottage.

Book a Stay for Two at Baymont Inn & Suites in Bremerton, WA starting at $55/nt!  Stay for two in a standard king room or up to four in a king suite, queen suite, standard double-queen room, or double-queen room with balcony with dates into July.  Kids 16 or younger stay for free.  Located just across the Puget Sound from Seattle, this hotel has newly renovated rooms with amenities such as free WiFi, mini fridges, microwaves, flat-screen TVs, and a complimentary hot breakfast buffet each morning.  Pets are welcome for a $15 nightly pet fee.  There is lots to do nearby including a naval museum, golf courses, and more.  Unwind at night with free hot chocolate and cider in the lobby.

Portland Area Hotels (Oregon):

Pick from 3 Getaway Options at the Salishan Spa & Golf Resort starting at $159/nt!  There are three packages to choose from, one designed for just simply staying at the resort, one for golfers, and one for spa lovers.  Packages start as low as $159/night (must buy a 2-night pakage) but that price also includes breakfast AND a late checkout (2pm!).  There is an Olympic size pool there that is open 24 hours a day, free putt-putt golf, and more.  Click here for our review of the Salishan Resort!
