I scream, you scream, we all scream for awesome sunglasses! I love a great purse, pair of shoes, or jewelry, but what I love more than anything in the sunnier months are sunglasses. In my opinion, they can take any outfit from ok to spectacular in mere seconds – especially with the right pair. They are statement pieces, have fun with them!

I can think of no better or more iconic pair of sunnies than the classic Wayfarer Ray Ban. Recently on a trip to San Francisco I stopped at the Thrift Town on Mission Street and went crazy in the store! Hands down one of the best thrift shopping experiences to date – more to come on that. One thing I found were these amazing Ray Bans. (Thrift Town, $29.99)

This is the second time I’ve found a pair of Ray Bans at Thrift Town, which goes to show that thrift stores are rad and carry amazing name brands. Not only are these sunnies stylish, but they are classic and go with EVERYTHING. I swear I’ve never met a person who didn’t look good in them – both men and women. If I could ever recommend a pair of sunglasses it would be the classic Wayfarer Ray Ban for sure. Pair you Ray Bans with some fun earrings like these J.Crew ones.

If Wayfarer’s aren’t your thing than op for Aviator sunglasses. Also, VERY flattering on people. I have a massive collection of sunnies and these reflecting ones have been a staple in my wardrobe. They aren’t name brand, but I don’t care because they are still really cool and found in perfect shape at Thrift Town. ($5.99)

Another style of sunglasses that I’m a big fan of are 70′s glasses. They aren’t for everyone, but I love them! My grandma Eileen used to wear them all the time and I thought they were the coolest! I love these pair and love how massive they are! A complete statement piece. With the resurgence of 70′s fashion from the movie American Hustle, you might want to be daring a pick up a pair of this shades.

Next time you are at Thrift Town, go to the ‘better’ section behind the counter and ask to see their sunglasses. They always have something really unique and high quality. The purses, sunglasses, and jewelry are there. And next time you are in San Francisco go to the Thrift Town on Mission Street! You will not be disappointed.
