Today is Day One on the Everyday Tank Top Blog Tour and I'm pleased to be showing you the tank top I sewed using the Everyday Tank: Top and Dresses pattern, by Serger Pepper. I was given a copy of the pattern to participate in the blog tour. Summer is fast approaching here in Australia, so no pattern hacks for me. The pattern is perfect without any alterations.
Little Miss wholeheartedly approves of her new top. If she's not keen on a new garment, it's always taken off as soon as the photo shoot is over. Not so this top. We had a family do that day and she left the top on for a few hours.
The Everyday Tank Top has met the clothing requirements for Little Miss...
it's comfortable
the fabric choice is spot on
the design is to her liking
Her Mum and I both love the top too...
it fits well
it's easy to put on and take off
it looks so, very cute
The side panels not only look good and add interest, but their addition means that small pieces of fabric can be used. I was lucky enough to have this fabric in my stash.
As well as a tank top, the pattern can also be used to make either a midi or a maxi dress. The Everyday Tank is super quick and easy to sew. It's a great pattern and one I can see me using over and over, especially given that the size range is from 3 years to 14 years.
When I make the next Everyday Tank, I'll write up a complete pattern review.
Two lucky people will win a copy of the Everyday Tank: Top and Dresses pattern. You can enter the giveaway via the Rafflecopter widget below.

The Everyday Tank: Top and Dresses blog tour runs for the rest of the week. I've seen a few sneak peeks of some awesome garments, including tanks with added sleeves and hoods. I believe there will be a couple of tutorials on how the pattern has been modified.
