I’ve been attending the annual St. Louis Earth Day Festival for about five years, but this was the first year I was able to bring the pugs with me. It’s always been a dog friendly event and I was always so jealous seeing everyone’s dogs, but alas, it’s usually a bit too warm for my guys. This year the cloud cover and threat of rain (which we just missed) kept the temps comfortable for puggies, even those riding on my back.As always, Pugs was a big hit with the kiddos.
No, really, I was stopped no less than 10 times for people to pet him!
So you can imagine their reaction when they realized I had a second pug strapped to my back, ha!
The only picture I got of Pugs looking at the alpacas because he was entirely more interested in the nearby puppy.
Pulled pork sliders earned his undivided attention.
Doing a little shopping at the Pets in the City booth.
This kitty was riding in one of those backpacks with the plastic lookout dome. It was hilarious, I’ve seen them online but never in the wild!
When we got home the boys got to split their Earth Day cookie.
It’s a miracle! He can see!
And we finished up our festivities with a can of Earth Day Delight from Merrick!
