On Saturday we joined people all over the country in local March For Our Lives events. While there was a much larger march planned for St. Louis, I decided to join the nearby march in O’Fallon, IL. Not only was it in my own state, but I wanted to support the high school students who had done an amazing job organizing. Even though it’s not a big city, and it was only 40 degrees and raining, a couple hundred people showed up to support the cause.
And while it was slightly miserable, there was something empowering about marching in the rain. Pugs was…not quite as enthused about it but he did a great job and was a big hit.
