The esteemed singer-songwriter Tony Hadley is set to light up Christmas for children with life-limiting conditions, and their families.
This exclusive performance for the 10th Shooting Star Chase and Surrey Life carol concert takes place on Thursday 15 December 2016 – guaranteed to be a night of wonderfully festive music for a great cause.
Rated in the top 3% of social and health services, the children’s hospice charity’s Vice President Tony Hadley will perform songs from his Christmas album at the event, which will be held at St George’s College Chapel in Weybridge. The evening will also include carols, performances from the 140-strong Elmbridge Mixed Voice Choir and Shooting Star Chase’s Family Choir, readings from supported family members and a special Christmas video starring some of our supported children.
The concert will be followed by a wine and canape reception, and a raffle – offering prizes including tickets to see the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at G Live and an opportunity to eat at award-winning restaurant, Emlyn in Dorking, plus a Silent Pool gin gift pack!
The Shooting Star Chase charity – which recently celebrated its 15th anniversary in Guildford – and Surrey Life carol concert will raise vital funds to give children with life-limiting conditions, and their families, a Christmas to remember. The charity provides vital short breaks and care at home throughout the festive season, and helps families build special memories with activities including wheelchair-accessible ice skating, trips to see Santa and Christmas parties at the hospices for different ages and abilities.
