As I get older my taste in clothing changes and I realize that I need to dress more like how I feel on the inside and throw away all of the unflattering outfits that are jamming up my closet.
I have decided to create a wishlist of clothing that I feel will reflect the mature woman that I am and really get serious about throwing away all of my over sized tees and ripped up old jeans.
Whenever I dress in clothes that I love, I feel better and have a better outlook on life. Clothes really can have a huge impact on how you feel as well as how your day goes. I want to have nothing but good days in the new year so I am sharing my wardrobe goals and really am planning on making a change for the new year.
This Into the Blue Cardy has the perfect ombre effect! I love the shade of blue on this cable knit cardigan. It looks so warm and comfy, this is at the top of my wardrobe wishlist.
The side slits add a little flare from another angle and I love how it leads into the cable knit pattern.
I would love to pair the above cable knit cardigan with this Day to Night Top. I can’t decide which color I would prefer but I have it narrowed down to two that would both be welcomed into the plans for my new wardrobe.
I love the black because it is slimming but I think the white adds an extra touch of elegance. The neckline leaves a great opportunity for a statement necklace.
This top is perfect for a base to the cardigan as well as beautiful by itself for a night on the town. I would love to see it paired with the Feel Good Pant.
It may seem like it’s too good to be true but I think I found both comfort and style in this knit pant.
For those really cold Iowa days, this Sunrise Shadow Scarf. Once again, the ombre effect really adds a nice pop of color and this scarf adds style to a season that is not always easy to be stylish during.

I love the classic simplicity of this piece, it’s effortless yet it creates a complete pulled together look. If you can only pick up one piece, this is it. There are so many ways to style this piece so you get a lot of bang for your buck.
I have never been much of a fashionista but one thing I have always heard is that every woman should have a little black dress. This solid twirl dress is the perfect one to add to my closet because it can be styled up with a colorful belt or leave it simple while still making a big impact.
