Tips on How to Stock Up & Store Items!

I love saving money and whenever I find a good deal I take advantage! I like to stock up on my favorite products when they are at their best price or when I have a coupon. Storing some of these items has become quite difficult in my home so I had to get creative.

I headed to my local Family Dollar Stores® to stock up on some of my favorite products and found a few clever ways to store these items.

I love heading to the store to get great deals especially when my mom tags along. She is always amazed by the deals I get but now I am sharing my tips so everyone can get great deals to help save when stocking up!

Watch out for savings by using the Family Dollar® Smart Coupons and stock up on items like:

laundry soap

toothpaste

toilet paper

feminine hygiene products

paper towels

non perishable food items

tissues

Save money when stocking up on essentials by using Family Dollar® Smart Coupons. This is my new favorite way to save, there is no cutting coupons required, everything can be done right from your phone or computer. At the time of checkout I just typed my phone number in and all of the coupons I “clipped” gave me discounts on my purchase!

Just to give you a better idea on how easy this is to use, I looked through the coupons online and when I found one I wanted, I clicked it. It then moved that coupon to a section titled My Wallet and kept a total of all of the savings as I added more deals.

There are so many deals but these are the ones I took advantage of while shopping to stock up on my favorites.

Save $2.00 on ONE Swiffer Refill or Wet Jet solution (excludes trial/travel)

Save $0.50 on ONE Downy Liquid Fabric Softener/Enhancer 40 load (excludes Downy Libre Enjuague and trial/travel size

Save $0.50 on ONE Crest Toothpaste 3 oz or more or Liquid Gel (excludes Kids and trial/travel size)

Save $2.00 on ONE Tide Pods or Gain Flings Laundry Detergent (excludes Tide Simply and Gain Flings/Tide Pods 5 ct and trial/travel size

Saving has never been easier and now that I am saving so much I need to find places in my home where I can store all of these products that I stock up on.

My laundry room doesn’t have extra storage space like shelves or anywhere on the floor to store items so I had to get creative if I wanted to save money and stock up.

I picked up a magnetic curtain rod from the housewares section and a few clips from the office section knowing that my laundry machines are magnetic, I wanted to take advantage of the space on the sides of my machines.

The magnetic curtain rod ends pop off pretty easily. Once I removed the end I added a few clips to hang my Tide Laundry Detergent Pods which were on sale by the way.

The rods made for hanging curtains are pretty solid so they can hold up the weight of multiple bags. The magnets are really strong so you don’t have to worry about the weight pulling the magnet down the side of your washing machine.

If you really want to stock up, buy multiple curtain rods and clips. Hang 2 or 3 on each side of your machines to make the most of the space you have.

I hope this storage hack helps you stock up and store your items as much as it has helped me.

I love being able to store all of the items that I stock up on when my favorite products are on sale at Family Dollar®, be sure to head over and start saving with Smart Coupons today.
