Kotlin and Anko – Ben Deitch

Anko is a new library from JetBrains which makes use of a ton of Kotlin features to make Android development fun again. If you think you’ll enjoy being able to create and manipulate your Views from within your code, without needing XML, then I think you’ll love Anko!

Rails Routes and Resources – Jay McGavren

You’ve seen how to create a Rails resource using a scaffold. But scaffolds don’t offer flexibility in how a resource is set up. Let’s create a resource totally by hand to see how it’s put together. Along the way, we’ll learn another important component of Rails: routes.

SVG Workflow and Tools – Guil Hernandez (31 minutes)

Learn useful tools and techniques for optimizing, organizing and structuring your SVG files. Then build an SVG icon system using a Gulp-based SVG sprite tool.

Understanding VR for Business – Nick Pettit (5 minutes)

Virtual reality is one of the biggest buzzwords in technology today, and with good reason. Learn how virtual reality can be utilized across market verticals and business applications.
