Make some polymer clay pancakes covered in blueberry sauce. Leave it to use as a cute dollhouse miniature or glue it to an adjustable ring and wear around your finger.
What you need:
polymer clay: Beige and Blue (I used Sculpey III)
hobby blade
Liquid Fimo
chalk or charcoal in Purple and Brown
painters palette
paint brush
toothpicks
ceramic or glass dollhouse miniature plate (optional)
adjustable ring (optional)
Roll some beige clay into 3 small equal sized balls of clay. Press the balls onto flattened circles to fit your plate.
If you don’t want to use a doll house miniature plate you can make the pancakes alone or sculpt your own plate from clay.
Use your hobby blade to shave some brown chalk into a slot in your painters palette. Dip your paintbrush into the shavings and dust just the tops of your pancakes.
Add a small dot of Liquid Fimo to the center of your plate and, place your first pancake on top of the plate. Add a small dot of Liquid Fimo between each layered pancake, this acts as a bonding agent.
Roll tiny pieces of blue clay into balls for blueberries.
Combine Purple (or red and blue) shaved chalk with Liquid Fimo to create blueberry sauce. Mix together with a toothpick and use the toothpick to apply half the mixture to the top of your pancakes.
Roll your blueberries in the remaining sauce and apply them on the pancake stack with your toothpick.
When you are happy with the look of your work, bake your pancakes plate and all at 275 for 20 min (cure time for Liquid Fimo). *plate must be glass or ceramic a plastic plate would melt*
Leave your work as a cute miniature or turn it into a piece of jewelry. Enjoy!
