ROYALS LAUNCH 2016 MOVEMBER CAMPAIGN
Victoria to participate in Movember to raise funds for men’s health.

Victoria, BC- The Victoria Royals today announced that they will be taking part in this year’s Movember campaign in support of men’s health and the Movember Foundation.
Royals’ Blake Bargar, Jared Dmytriw, Ryan Gagnon, Dante Hannoun, Jeremy Masella, Griffen Outhouse, Matthew Phillips, Ethan Price, Chaz Reddekopp, Jack Walker and Gunnar Wegleitner have been selected as this year’s “MoBros” and will compete for donations throughout the month of November.

Movember is an annual charitable initiative encouraging the growth of moustaches on men’s faces around the world to raise awareness, support and funding for men’s health issues, specifically prostate cancer and male mental health. This month will mark the sixth consecutive year that the Royals have officially participated in Movember in an effort to raise funds for the Movember Foundation.
Last Season the Royals raised over $2,300 and helped the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) contribute over $95,000 for the Movember Foundation. In the past five years, CHL clubs have helped raise over $644,000 to this cause.
Victoria is in action tonight at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre to kick-off a franchise-high eight game homestand against the Red Deer Rebels. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
