Old flame reignited…or just friends?
We know divorced couple Lil Wayne and Toya Wright have remained friends since they called it quits years ago and have moved on into new relationships. Wayne had (or still has) a girlfriend named Dhea and was also dating Christina Milian at one point in time. And Toya married former Sony exec MempHitz and is currently in the divorce process.
Interestingly, Toya recently hinted about a re-sparked flame during her appearance last week on "The Real."
Now, the two are getting in some club time together. The high school sweethearts were spotted arriving (and leaving) Compound nightclub together for a BET Hip Hop Awards afterparty.
Their spotting comes at an interesting time being that Wayne recently posted a picture of Toya on his Instagram a few weeks ago with the caption, “Home team ride or die 4lyfe!!”
The comments section on that particular post blew up with fans wondering if Wayne and Toya would rekindle their love. However, Toya recently went on “The Real” where she revealed she doesn’t see herself getting back with Weezy romantically right now, BUT she did say “you never know what the future holds.” She said Wayne still has a lot of growing up to do and that she is at a different point at her life. She added she would always support him because she was his friend first.
As you know, Toya lost two of her brothers to gun violence in New Orleans in July and it was reported Wayne was there to help her through the grieving process. So, the IG picture he posted of Toya could have stemmed from the tragic situation in Toya’s life. But, will it grow to something more? Time will tell…
In other Wayne news…
There are new updates in the Wayne vs. Birdman drama. TMZ got their hands on legal documents from Wayne’s $51 million lawsuit that say Birdman admitted to spending approximately $70 million of the $100 million of the advance on royalties, marketing and recording expenses from Universal Music Group. Now, Wayne wants to see receipts. Its being reported Birdman sent over 22,015 pages of documents to Wayne's lawyers and they’re reportedly going through it all before they head back to court. Sheesh!
Oh, and get this.
There are also reports that Wayne is LIVID with Birdman for letting former Young Money rapper Tyga out of his contract without even informing him! Sources tell TMZ had he known Birdman was going to try and let Tyga go, he would have tried to stop him. Too late now. Tyga recently signed to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music label.

After hitting the green carpet at the BET Hip Hop Awards, rapper Young Jeezy was spotted in the mix for the fun.
Hmm...what's in that cup Jeezy? And Wayne appears to partaking in some extracurricular activities.
DJ Khaled, who hosted the Hip Hop Awards show and copped the Hustler of the Year Award, made his way to club for the turn up.
Y'all know the SnapChat King was on his job, snapping away clips for his fans.
