'Ye turned 38 yesterday. And his "obsession" for basketball was taken into full consideration when his wife Kim Kardashian planned his surprise party.
Kim rented out the home of the Lakers, the Sparks & the Clippers yesterday for Kanye and a bevy of friends to be professional ballers for a day who could play a fun game of hoops. Yep, for a reported $110,000, Kim and the Staples Center had the Laker girls, referees, a few pro ballers, announcer John Salley, and a National Anthem & Happy Birthday singer by the name of John Legend.

All his homies like John, Justin Bieber, Tyga, and Pusha T participated in the big surprise. Everybody even had jerseys (Kanye was team WEST and the other was EAST, of course). Pro-ballers, current and veteran, also participated in the big event. Russell Westbrook, John Wall, Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Carmelo Anthony, Shaquille O'Neal and Scotty Pippen all made videos that showed up on the jumbotron.
