Kate McKinnon debuted a new take on Kellyanne Conway on “SNL,” threatening Beck Bennett’s Jake Tapper for not bringing her back to “The Lead” because of her credibility issues.

Wearing a nightgown and waiting for Tapper in his apartment, Kellyanne didn’t boil a rabbit, but she did grab a knife and threaten Tapper until he agreed to bring her back on the network. Check out the full sketch above.

“How did you break into my apartment?” Tapper demanded.

“Well, what was I supposed to do?” Kellyanne shot back. “You weren’t answering my calls. You changed your number. I’m not going to be ignored, Jake!”

Tapper told Conway he couldn’t bring her back on the show, referencing CNN’s decision not to accept an interview from Conway in place of Vice President Mike Pence. Conway couldn’t handle it.

“But I miss the news,” she told the uncomfortable Tapper. “I want to get a mic. I want to feel that hot, black mic pressed up against my skin. You were on the news today. You smell like good news. Let me taste the news on your face.”

“Okay, fine,” she said. “I’ll do something else. I’ll do something really crazy. What if I do a free commercial for Ivanka’s shoes, live on air? Would you like that, baby?

“Oh, what! Just a little ethics violation. Think of the click bait. Click, click, click! Don’t you see? I don’t do this for me. I do it for you. You need me. You need to press me.”

Next, Kellyanne put a knife to Tapper’s throat to insist he let her back on CNN.

“Okay, okay!” Tapper shouted. “You can go on Fareed Zakaria.”

“Fareed Zakaria!?” Conway responded. “I have an office in the (bleeped) White House?”

The sketch ended with Tapper agreeing to bring Conway back on his show, before she accidentally fell out his apartment window. Unharmed, she told him, “Actually, I’m fine, but I only have three lives left.”
