A long time ago on a movie location far, far away, Harrison Ford had an affair with his “Star Wars” co-star Carrie Fisher. Or at least that’s what Fisher claims.

Fisher, whose memoir “The Princess Diarist” is on sale Nov. 22, told People that she and Ford — who at the time was a married father of two — had a three-month romantic relationship while filming the sci-fi classic in 1976.

“It was so intense,” Fisher said. “It was Han [Solo] and [Princess] Leia during the week, and Carrie and Harrison during the weekend.”

According to Fisher, the pair first spent the night together after director George Lucas’ birthday party. (Fisher did not elaborate on whether Han shot first during the encounter.)

In an excerpt from the book published by Fisher, the actress added that her 19-year-old self struggled with questions of self-worth when it came to hooking up with the actor, who at the time was 33.

“I looked over at Harrison. A hero’s face — a few strands of hair fell over his noble, slightly furrowed brow,” Fisher wrote. “How could you ask such a shining specimen of a man to be satisfied with the likes of me?”

However, Fisher said, the actor’s kindness quelled her self-doubt.

“I was so inexperienced, but I trusted something about him,” Fisher noted. “He was kind.”

A spokeswoman for Ford has not yet responded to TheWrap’s request for comment about the reported relationship, which according to Fisher ended when the film wrapped.
