Another team where rebuilding isn't in the vocabulary.

8-FLIN FLON BOMBERS (1-2) ... 4th last week
An uneventful start for a team expected to contend. Not much offense so far.
9-MELFORT MUSTANGS (2-3) ... 6th last week
If they could find some goal scorers, they'd be dynamite.
10-NOTRE DAME HOUNDS (1-2) ... 12th last week
Coach Kevin White doing a nice job placing added responsibilities on players who maybe weren't expecting them prior to the season.
11-BATTLEFORDS NORTH STARS (1-4) ... 5th last week
It's not panic time yet, but if they go 1-and-4 in their next five games, it will be panic time.
12-WEYBURN RED WINGS (1-3) ... 9th last week
They've done a nice job keeping pucks out, now they have to put a few more in the other teams' net.
WHO'S HOT
Tanner Froese, Estevan (4-4-4-8) ... points in every game so far.
Tad Kozun, Nipawin (4-5-2-7) ... primed for a big season and he's delivering so far.
Owen LaClare, La Ronge (4-5-2-7) ... a minor surprise based on his lack of midget pedigree
Sebastien Beauregard, La Ronge (4-5-1-6) ... a quick start and a big reason why the Ice Wolves have started fast too.
Cody Thiel, Kindersley (3-4-2-6) ... he has a presence that says 'threat to do something' every time he's on the ice.
Stefan Seel, Kindersley (3-3-2-5) ... good size, skates well, and is using his reach advantage.
Cade Spencer, Humboldt (2-0, 1.50, .940) ... the next great Humboldt puckstopper?
Dasan Sydora, LaRonge (2-0, 2.00, .950) ... second year netminder flying under the radar was a great goalie at the midget level, learned behind a young team last year.
Tyrell King, Kindersley (3-0, 2.00, .930) ... like a bunch of his Klipper teammates, he appears as though a bust out season is within his grasp.
