I used love to accessorize, especially with beautiful statement necklaces and baubles.  Then my little Man started his teething and grabbing phase.  Which meant  if my favorite necklace wasn’t covered in drool, he had his vice like death grip on them.  I was terrified he’d break them or that a piece would end up in his mouth, so I stopped wearing necklaces all together, until I tried out Chewbeads.

I was a little skeptical at first.  How cute could a necklace made for teething really be?  I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised.  Chewbeads are designed for teething.  Translation, they are made of 100% silicone; free of  BPA, PVC, Phthalates, Cadmium, even Lead.  Chewbeads are dishwasher or soap and water safe; feature no detachable parts, and the necklace is strung on ultra strong cord and double knotted between beads to prevent any piece from coming apart.  Best of all they are soft for babies’ gums.  I love the variety of vibrant colors they come in, I am currently rocking the Perry Necklace in Stormy Grey.  The little Man looked at me like I was a little crazy when I offered him the Perry Necklace, considering I’m usually

pulling necklaces out of his mouth.  And it was a winner in his book; he especially loves the flatter, larger, oval beads.  I could tell his little brain was mulling over the necklace from the shapes to the texture, before he happily chomped to his heart’s content.  I personally love that the necklaces are fashionable, I especially like the look of layering the Jane necklaces.  And I love that I don’t have to worry about little pieces breaking off and either having him choke or ingest toxic parts.

I also received the Stanton Bracelet, which I just slip off and hand over to the little Man.  It’s a great distraction at restaurants, and I didn’t realize this, but it works great as a reminder for breast feeding moms, to know which side you just nursed, good to remember for baby no. 2.

Additionally, I received the Cubs MLB Gameday Teether for the little Man.  This teether is incredibly flexible and the little Man loves squeezing it, watching the inside C move.  It’s made of the same silicone as the necklaces and bracelets.  It features different textures, which are always a plus to have in a teether.  I personally think the Gameday Teethers make great gifts for the littlest fans or would be the perfect little add on to a baby shower gift.

The Perry Necklace is now a part of my mommy uniform, and I love that I don’t have to worry about him exploring with mommy’s jewelry.

And for those of you facing my very same accessory issues, you are in luck – we are offering one lucky winner their very own Perry Necklace by Chewbeads in a color of their choice (based on availability)!  The giveaway starts today, Tuesday November 5th and ends Sunday November 10th at noon CST. Winner be selected at random, contacted via email and have five days to claim their prize before another winner is selected.
