Baby snuggles. Footie pajamas. Is there much sweeter? When my kiddos have just had a bath and are snuggled up in their beds with their pajamas on, my heart melts everytime. It's just so sweet. and wonderful.
We picked up Chris from the airport last night (he has been filming in Wyoming all week) and we have MISSED him. We are all so so happy to have him home! In fact my entire house is still sound asleep snuggled up in their beds at the moment. Life is good, I am thankful. I think fall has to be my favorite time of year...so just knowing it is approaching makes me super happy as well. Pumpkin pies, peanut butter cookies and Christmas music! I can't wait!
We (Apple, Chris and I) leave for the influence conference in about a week and half...I have never flown with a newborn so that will be a new adventure for us! I flew with two toddlers when we went to California last year but never a teeny baby. Any advice? We have only left the big kids one other time so that of course makes me a bit weepy, but I cannot wait to experience all that the weekend holds.
Also, I mentioned it on twitter but when Chris got in the car accident the week after Apple was born he totaled my 4runner. (the accident was not his fault) I have written a few blog posts about that car and how I have driven it since I turned 16. I am so sad to see it go! So many memories in that car. We will probably get a replacement car in the next week or two.
Okay, just some random Friday morning thoughts! Off to eat some french toast.
