Jon Jacobsen designed startling manipulations of the human body in his dreamlike photographic portraits. By using animated GIFs,he brings his eerie subjects to life, further enhancing their pained expressions. He teamed up with Colombian designer Daniel Ramos Obregon for the latest project “Insula” which delves into how technology became an extension of our beings.
The series show twisted and contorted bodies that seem to have electricity passing through them.
