Noosa Summer Swim – Saturday 1st February 2014

Join series ambassador Michael Klim on the start line and head to Noosa’s Main Beach on Saturday 1st February 2014 for the Milk & Co Queensland Ocean Swim Series, featuring the Noosa Summer Swim. The event includes classic ocean swims of 1km and 2kms, along with a 300m Nippers Surf Dash and team relay format.

Sunshine Coast Pride Festival – 21st – 23rd February 2014

The 6th Annual Sunshine Coast Pride Festival is promising to be the biggest pride event north of Brisbane and is planned over a three day weekend with activities for all age-groups and interests. The musical line-up presents an eclectic range of styles with something for everyone -from relaxed folk tunes by The Flumes to the energising dance tracks of Danielle DeLaite.

Medibank Wave Warriors Junior Challenge – Saturday 22nd February 2014

This junior surf lifesaving event was developed by Ironman Zane Holmes and will visit Noosa for the second year on Saturday 22nd February 2014. A great family weekend.

Noosa Festival of Surfing – 8th – 15th March 2014

The biggest surfing event in the world with more than 500 competitors will again take place on Noosa’s Main Beach. Presented by Jeep, with entries already received from California, Mexico, Hawaii, New Zealand, New Caledonia, France, UK, Indonesia and Japan!!! Six world champions are amongst the early entrants, including 2012 world men’s longboard champion Taylor Jensen (Jeep Waterman Challenge) and reigning ISA world junior longboard champion Honolua Blomfield (Junior Women’s).

The Noosa Ultimate Sports Fest – 26th – 27th April 2014

The Noosa Ultimate Sports Fest incorporates several popular sporting events on one weekend including The Noosa Blue Water Swim, Century Bike Ride and Noosa Running Festival. It’s one ultimate weekend of swimming, biking and running in Noosa’s picturesque setting and idyllic weather conditions.

The Australian Body Art Carnivale 3rd – 4th May 2014

Australia’s premier body art event is a colourful and creative festival experience for all ages and it is free! Held annually in Eumundi, the Carnivale is centred on competitions in temporary body painting showcasing brush and sponge, airbrush and special effects techniques along with face painting.  Also on show are a diversity of other contemporary and imaginative arts including wearable art, vehicle art, photography, kids workshops, music and street entertainment. The theme for 2014 is Dreams & Nightmares so expect to be amazed.

The Noosa International Food & Wine Festival – 15th – 18th May 2014

The Noosa International Food & Wine Festival has earned its place as Australia’s premier food, wine and lifestyle event, hosting over two hundred of the world’s leading chefs, winemakers, food personalities, media and foodies over a 4 day program. The Festival will host some of the best Australian and international chefs including Franck-Elie Laloum (Shanghai), Alvin Leung (Hong Kong), Bruno Loubet (London), Neil Perry AM (Sydney), Julien Royer (Singapore), David Thompson (Bangkok) as well as Shane Delia, Guy Grossi, Peter Kuruvita, Andrew McConnell, and many others under direction of the Festival’s new Executive Chef Timothy Montgomery.

Noosa Triathlon Multi Sport Festival – 29th October – 2nd November 2014

An irresistible mix of sport and entertainment, the Noosa Triathlon Multi Sport Festival is a week-long festival that offers everything from swimming, cycling, running, golf, a serious after party and a dynamic sport and lifestyle expo. It’s one of the largest triathlon events in the world which draws 6,000 competitors each year to the Olympic distance course (1.5km swim, 40km cycle and 10km run).
