Are you growing inches on your belly? Belly fat, muffin top, bulging belly, big belly – whatever we call it – is a problem for women. Men too. I went to Amazon and looked through books about belly fat and found thousands of comments on books about belly fat.

Each of these books has their remedies and protocols. Why all the fuss about belly fat?

Harvard Medical School Publication has this to say:

No matter what your body shape, excess fat isn’t good for your health. But saddlebags and ballooning bellies are not equivalent. When it comes to body fat, location counts, and each year brings new evidence that the fat lying deep within the abdomen is more perilous than the fat you can pinch with your fingers.

One of the main reasons fat is accumulated in our body is because of the build up of stress hormones – cortisol. Cortisol is our number one enemy. It is linked to weight gain, lower immune function, foggy mind, poor metabolism, cholesterol, heart disease, over-eating and more.

There is a health connection between our emotional, physical and spiritual being. Nurturing of mind, body and emotions are equally important in the process of creating total wellness, managing stress and fight that belly fat.

Dr. Gary Young of Young Living Essential Oils has a threefold nature’s remedies of burn, balance and build. He calls it the 3Bs.

Our body consists of more than 60% water and water will flush out toxins and help transport nutrients to your cells. 2. Balance Complete and Power Meal

We need a well-balanced meal that is rich in nutrients, vitamins and minerals. Unfortunately we are not getting enough of all those vital nutrients in our food. Our super food meal replacement like Balance Complete and Power Meal have the essential nutrients minus the empty calories.

Balance Complete also gives you the high-fiber to promote feelings of fullness and to maintain bowel regularity. As we age, we need more fiber in our diet. The guideline is 25 grams of fiber per day for women and 38 grams for men. The average American consumes less than 15 grams per day.
