Today, Business Relationship Management Institute™ (BRMI®) is thrilled to announce the launch of a global strategic alliance with International Institute of Business Analysis™ (IIBA®), the leading association for business analysis professionals worldwide. This agreement stems from a mutual commitment to building value-add relationships and expanding business outcomes.
By signing this Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), BRMI and IIBA expect that their collaboration will lead to more effective knowledge sharing, improved products and services, and increased support for business analysis professionals and business relationship managers among other stakeholders.
Specifically, the Memorandum of Understanding aims to enhance alignment of the BRM and BA discipline and develop invaluable networking opportunities for professionals and organizations alike, which will significantly strengthen the BRM and BA disciplines and the value they bring to those organizations.
This new collaboration between BRMI and IIBA points to a heightened recognition of the BRM and BA disciplines across the globe, as well as a stronger understanding of the value these roles add to the success of organizations.
Stephen Ashworth, President and CEO of IIBA said, “In order to expand the reach of BA professionals and the association, we are connecting beyond our own community to support the evolution of the role and impact of business analysis. Bringing together this new alliances and the members of IIBA will ensure the integration of an industry knowledge base, thought leadership, and an expanded portfolio of products and services.”
According to Aaron Barnes, Co-Creator of Business Relationship Management Institute, “As the leading professional organizations committed to developing and disseminating professional best practices and provide thought leadership, BRMI and IIBA must collaborate to clearly define interactions between our complementary professional disciplines using shared terminology. The two Institutes join forces to provide a solid mutually agreed approach to improving business value realization in organizations around the globe. In today’s highly collaborative business environments, organizations must leverage their strategic resources including IT, HR, Finance, Facilities, etc. in partnership with the business, to identify and fully realize potential opportunities. BRMs and BAs play a crucial role in the creation of these strategic partnerships. BRMI is excited to collaborate with IIBA bringing the two very important complementary professional disciplines together to support our global communities and assist organizations in driving strong business results.”
