The 3DS iteration of Rhythm Heaven, known in Japan as Rhythm Tengoku: The Best Plus, has been confirmed for a Western release later in 2016. The game features over 100 rhythm games, most of which have been selected to return from the previous titles Rhythm Heaven (Nintendo DS) and Rhythm Heaven Fever (Wii). If that wasn’t enough, rhythm games are included from the original Game Boy Advance title, Rhythm Tengoku, which was never released outside of Japan!
In addition to serving as a sort of “Greatest Hits” entry into the series, an additional 30 brand new rhythm games can be enjoyed in Rhythm Heaven Megamix. A collection of screenshots and character art can be view in the gallery after the break. Again, Megamix will launch for the Nintendo 3DS in North America later this year.
