At the Junior League of Jacksonville Holiday Market this past fall, I purchased some of the most amazing smelling candles I have ever put laid my nose on.

I was skeptical at first - can these really smell as good AND fill my house with a fabulous scent as - dare I say it - a Tyler or Yankee Candle?

The answer is YES. And even more importantly, these candles come from a family owned business in Ybor City (Tampa area).

Seventh Avenue Apothecary brought me in to their booth with rustic, laid back decor. I loved that their scents are different than the average big box - or even boutique - candle scents. I purchased 2 of their 6 oz tins and 2 of their 14 oz candle jars. The Tuscan Cypress and Fig knocked me off my feet and has become a permanent staple in our house.

The soy candles burn clean, for up to 50 hours and the scent really does fill a room. Even when I'm not burning one of Seventh Avenue Apothecary's candles, people still notice the aromatic scent!

From the Seventh Avenue Apothecary site:

Our distinct fragrances are blended using an all natural soy wax, free of dyes, with natural coated cotton wicks. Our soy wax is a completely natural and renewable resource that supports the American farmer. We have silkscreened our glassware with a classic apothecary design so that once the candle has been completely burned, the container becomes a beautiful drinking glass you can re-use in your home.
Visitation to their store is by appointment only, but I'm beyond thrilled I can order their signature and seasonal scents directly through their online shop.
