SIME Darby Auto Performance (SDAP) has expanded the Porsche brand's line up for the Malaysian market following the recent introduction of the new Porsche Cayman GTS coupe and Boxster GTS convertible models.
The two mid-engined sports cars were introduced at the newly opened Porsche Centre Sungai Besi by SDAP.
Unlike their lesser siblings, both the Cayman GTS and Boxster GTS boast a slightly more aggressive exterior, with the reworked front fascias and its black-finished lip spoilers being the most notable changes here.
Adding further to the menacing design are the Porsche Dynamic Lighting System (PDLS) smoked bi-xenon headlamps primed as standard, along with a pair of smoked tail lights, and the 20-inch wheels finished in gloss black.
Underneath, both the Boxster GTS and Cayman GTS share the same heart in the form of Porsche's signature 3.4-litre flat-six engine.
Whilst the Boxster GTS is endowed with 330hp and 370Nm of peak torque, its coupe sibling offers a higher output of 340hp and 380Nm instead.
Both models are offered with a six-speed manual transmission and Porsche's Sport Chrono pack as standard whilst the seven-speed PDK twin-clutch sport automatic is available as an option.
Both GTS models also feature the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) suite as standard for enhanced handling abilities.
Other notable options available include the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) suite and the Porsche Toruqe Vectoring (PTV) system.
As for the interior, which is covered in both leather and alcantara, buyers can also opt between two colour schemes – Rhodium Silver and Carmine Red.
Available for viewing and bookings now, prices start from RM660,000 and RM700,000 for the Boxster GTS and Cayman GTS respectively (excluding on-the-road costs).
Said prices does include SDAP's offer of a four-year warranty plan and a fouryear complimentary service maintenance package.
