Whatever happened to the TV show 'Brainiac: Science Abuse'?

Why isn't this awesome show around anymore? I used to love watching it, as a kid. I much preferred Richard Hammond hosting it (wasn't too keen on Vic Reeves, when he took over), and I loved both the characters that were featured and the experiments they used to do - most of which, I actually still remember, such as Dr. Bunhead, Jon Tickle, as well as that ongoing experiment to try and break into a (supposedly) impenetrable safe :lol:
