Americanisation Bill 2015
An Act to become the 51st state of America.
"BE IT ENACTED by The Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Commons in this present Parliament assembled, in accordance with the provisions of the Parliament Acts 1911 and 1949, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-"
1. Sovereignty
(1) The president of the United States of America will replace the Queen as sovereign.
(2) Every (former) British citizen will be entitled to vote in the presidential election.
(3) A senator for Britain will be elected every 5 years.
2. Citizenship
(1) Every current British citizen will be automatically granted American citizenship.
(2) Every current British resident will be granted the same residency rights as they currently hold, as a new resident of America.
(3) All British passports, will be exchanged for new American passports.
3. Law
(1) Britain will retain all of its existing laws, with no change.
(2) New American laws will not affect Britain expect by decree of the British law review board.
(3) The House of Lords will be renamed the British law review board, and will decide what new Federal American laws affect Britain.
(4) The House of Commons will remodeled to match that of an American state, retaining a state assembly for Britain.
(5) The British Assembly will have supreme power in law.
4. Order
(1) the British nuclear deterrent will be controlled by the Pentagon.
(2) MI6 will be replaced with the CIA.
(3) MI5 will become part of the British police.
(4) The FBI will have jurisdiction on some cases in Britain if given powers by the British law review board.
(5) The British armed forces will become an division of the American armed forces.
5. Constitution and devolution
(1) The British constitution will be rewritten to closely match the American constitution.
(2) All the individual counties of Scotland, Wales and England will be devolved, and have there own assemblies.
(3) Northern Ireland will be given independence, with the power to do whatever it likes, such as join the other bit of Ireland, or become part of Europe or America.
(4) Britain will remain in the EU (provisionally)
(5) All British dependences will be given a choice on what nations they want to be part of, or if they do not leave, will remain British dependencies, with no change expect for that of sovereign.
6. Fiscal matters
(1) Britain will pay no taxes to America at any point ever.
(2) America will take full financial responsibility for the armed forces and the foreign office.
(3) America will pay for presidential election costs in Britain.
(4) Britain will scrap the foreign aid budget.
(5) All existing government departments not aforementioned will be unaffected financially.
(6) The dollar will become legal tender in Britain alongside Sterling.

The saving to the UK would be enormous, as all defense spending, border control, foreign aid, embassy costs and immigration and passport control, would all be paid for by the USA.
Britain would become the 51st state of America.
All costs involved in the transference would amount to approx £50Bn, with savings in excess of £110Bn yearly.
No change to British law would happen without Parliaments approval.
Only minimal interference would be caused by the FBI, who would not be given as much power as they have in the USA currently.
