Friend from home basically stopped talking to me after I got in to uni ???

One of my closest friends from school completely stopped speaking to me after I got in to university and did well in my a levels.
She didn't even say well done or anything, just competely blanked me. I texted her asking if she wanted to meet up before I moved (I've gone pretty far so we won't be able to see each other during term time really) and she never replied.
I've texted her a few times since I've been at uni, and she has replied, but only in pretty blunt answers and hasn't once asked how uni is.
She's taking a gap year and applying this year, but I don't see why she'd stop talking to me just because I've gone to uni this year and she hasn't !
It's such a shame as we used to be really close, but she clearly doesn't care about me anymore !
