Bright&Early is a free, monthly breakfast lecture series for creative types designed to promote creativity in our city.

The concept is simple: come drink coffee + eat breakfast while being inspired by the creative community in our city. All for free.

This month's speaker, Steven Harowitz will give you a peak behind the curtain of a year spent designing and launching Creative Weekend and Workshop STL, built on five years of major event production. You could call it a magic recipe, but 10% of the time Steven crushes it and 90% he just make s**t up as he goes (i.e. the definition of learning). That ability is built on a pretty deep bed of knowledge, so he pulls it off. Come hear about all of that – and steal some of his ideas.

Tomorrow morning at 7:30 - 9:00 a.m.

At the Regional Arts Commission on Delmar.

RSVP here.

During the day Steven is an advisor and leadership coach for student organizations at Washington University in St. Louis. During the night Steven is a superhero. Wait. Rewind, edit. Steven is an Improviser at The Improv Shop and the President of the Compass Improv Festival, a local 501(c)3 non-profit that hosts St. Louis’ only Improv Festival (Which is shame because STL is one of the homes of Improv. The more you know.). An interesting fact about Steven is he started something called Creative Weekend. Creative Weekend is a 3.5-day retreat built on creativity and productivity science and designed to help individuals renew their creativity again.
