Colorado’s cannabis community is in mourning after learning of the death of 24-year-old dispensary security guard and former United States Marine Travis Mason.
Late Saturday evening, two men fatally shot the Green Heart Marijuana dispensary security guard while attempting to rob the dispensary and then fled the scene. Aurora police responded to the call at around 9:45 PM to find Mason suffering from multiple gunshot wounds; Mason was later pronounced dead.
Mason had recently finished his time with the U.S. Marine Corps and had been working at the Aurora, Colorado dispensary for under two weeks. He leaves behind his wife and three children.
No arrests have been made and the killers’ whereabouts remain unknown.
