President Mohammadu Buhari

“…Already there are voices saying these changes are taking too long, even though only six weeks have passed since my inauguration. I hear such calls, but this task cannot and should not be rushed. When cabinet Ministers are appointed in September…”- President Muhammodu Buhari’s article on Washington post

President Muhammadu Buhari (PMB) is presently in the United States of America to meet President Obama to discuss some important developmental issues. Yesterday (20th July, 2015), an article written by PMB was posted on Washington post. From the article, it is now evident that cabinet Ministers will be appointed in September (The hashtag #babagoslow will now gain more references).

In last week’s article, emphasis was laid on the significance of trained talents in nation building.

“Trained talent is the yeast that transforms a society and makes it rise”- Lee Kuan Yew

It was also posited that we should harness our big brains abroad, and also cross those lines that divide us (i.e Political, ethnic, religious and gender lines).

In concluding last week’s article, our dear readers were asked to give names of those they were expecting on the Ministerial list. I will be giving a brief profile of some of the names given.
