The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has urged the public to disregard purported results of the Edo state governorship election making the rounds on social media.
Only INEC or its designated officials can announce results, the commission said.

Meanwhile, collation of results are presently on going and INEC is expected to announce the winner of the polls early on Thursday morning.
