For the first time ever, The Master Chief’s entire story is on one console with Halo: The Master Chief Collection for Xbox One. To launch it at E3, twofifteenmcann, Xbox and developer 343 Industries, partnered with director Johnny Hardstaff and Digital Domain to recreate one of the most iconic moments in the newly re-mastered Halo 2, with a twist.
At first, the film looks like a remake of one most famous scenes in the franchise’s history – the Master Chief riding a bomb through space, guiding it to destroy an enemy ship – but gradually it becomes clear that it's a holographic projection that is being watched by a new character in the Halo universe: Agent Locke.
