Virtual College's Healthcare e-Academy in Ilkley, West Yorkshire are looking for a skilled consultative Salesperson/Business Development Manager to join their close knit team.

To be considered for the role applicants will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
•Sales of e-learning and online management tools - all proven products - which help our customers to deliver high quality training and systems to the healthcare and relevant connecting sectors
•You will work tenaciously to agreed targets, formulating a number of plans to increase your pipeline to ensure that the targets are met.
•Development of strategic business plans to exploit new markets in the health and social care sector
•You will develop key links to agencies, charities and industry leaders in your sector and effectively network with them to place Virtual College as a thought leader
•Consultative selling to senior manager level, you will need to ask the right questions in order to diagnose clients' business problems and then offer relevant learning solutions and tools to help them overcome them
•You will need to be able to manage small to medium scale projects to ensure successful handover and onboarding of your customers
•You will work with the marketing team to ensure that all products and services are promoted successfully
•There will be some overnight stays and travel in the UK to meet potential customers

Key attributes and requirements of the role:
•IT literate, you must be able to create slick presentations and have a working understanding of Excel and Word
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills with good attention to detail
•Experienced, Solution led salesperson with a proven track record of B2B sales
•Target driven with strategic and relationship building skills
•Excellent commercial acumen with a good understanding of both short and long term business goals taking into account income and costs to maximise profits
•Positive, confident and friendly demeanour with high level of integrity will be essential to ensure you fit the company culture of this friendly yet ambitious and driven organisation
•Self-starting and driven, being able to work independently and as part of a focussed team
•A track record of selling to the health and social care sector or similar is desirable but not essential
•Full clean driving licence is essential
