EMIS is the largest supplier of GP clinical systems in the UK, and is expanding into Community, Children's and Mental Health with significant growth in the past 12 months in this market. Due to this growth and expansion, EMIS Community, Children's and Mental Health division is now seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager
About the role
The Enterprise Business Development Manager will have the overall responsibility to develop, progress and close sales opportunities in Community, Children’s and Mental Health, as well as acute and other “Trust”/Enterprise sectors as required against attainable targets as well as managing and taking full ownership of formal bid opportunities. You will also provide expert domain and sales input into a variety of sales opportunities and situations, supporting the delivery of CCMH revenue targets, and growth of the business.
The Enterprise Business Development Manager will be required to work as part of a team, across CCMH, EMIS and the wider EMIS group, to ensure the delivery of the right healthcare IT solutions to customers.

Your job (not limited to the following)
Develop new and existing business opportunities
Produce demonstrations
Grow existing accounts to increase revenue contribution
Preparation of bids, tenders, proposals and there sales outputs/inputs
Work closely with sales support and the wider CCMH team & EMIS Group, to deliver complex enterprise solutions to a range of NHS and non-NHS clients.
Delivering straight forward systems based sales alongside the more complex opportunities
Essential skills and experience
Sales, Account Management and Business Development Experience
A proven sales track record
Enterprise solutions skill set complex as well as more commodity sales.
“Trust”/Enterprise organisation experience, specifically Community, Children’s & Mental Health, or Acute Trust related organisations.
Extensive experience of communicating with key stakeholders
A team player
Desirable skills and experience
Pre-existing relationships across target sectors.
Ability to turn hand to variety of sales, small, medium and large as overall solution demands.
Experience of selling software, solutions, or other related solutions in the EMIS solutions mix.
Experience of large scale negotiations
