Purpose:
To directly support the operations team in maximising the sales and marketing within the home.
Reports To: Home Manager
Key performance Indicators:
Occupancy at the designated home and average weekly fees associated with the new move-ins.

Key Duties and Tasks:
The Home Admissions Adviser is responsible for effectively marketing the home through finding and delivering qualified leads and for selling the home through discovering, presenting and closing qualified leads and referral sources with the objective of reaching and maintaining budgeted census and revenue goals.
The Home Admissions Adviser is responsible for ensuring positive and successful move in experience for new residents.
The Home Admissions Adviser is responsible for communicating new resident information to fellow team members
It is expected that the Home Admissions Adviser will become knowledgeable in the Gracewell culture and become and advocate and exemplar of the same. That knowledge will extend to the principles of service, and applicable policies and procedures.
As a senior representative of Gracewell the Home Admissions Adviser is expected to help foster a positive atmosphere within the home. In particular the HAA will demonstrate abilities, experience and knowledge in the following areas;
Occupancy/Budgets
Develop a working knowledge of Gracewell policies and procedures that impact on sales and marketing
Maintain a thorough working proficiency on all company databases, specifically Coldharbour
Work closely with the Home Manager to understand their needs and concerns and ensure these are properly addressed e.g. not to move in residents if and when the HM has concerns about their suitability for the facility.
Ensure that show suites and apartments are well maintained
Ensure that all team members in the home understand that marketing is everyone's responsibility and are knowledgeable and trained in their participation in Marketing and sales and customer service/telephone etiquette
Have the ability to build trusted relationships with all stakeholders and clients.
Hold regular meetings with the Home Manager to review and sign off the coming weeks marketing and business development activities
Ensure all information and reports necessary for the board and senior management team are produced and delivered in a timely manner
Participate in on-going training and attend seminars to maintain awareness of relevant marketplaces, marketing and industry ideas.
Lead by example by being visible and involved in our homes
Ensure that resident budget and/or a census of 95% or higher is maintained
Ensure that all resident charges paperwork is processed appropriately
Main responsibilities:
To meet and exceed the home’s occupancy budget. Effectively track each prospect from initial enquiry through to final decision. Keep all prospect records current on a daily basis. Build a trusting and positive relationship with prospects by;
Understanding the prospect’s needs and concerns
Overcoming and answering objections
Thoroughly and properly understanding the Gracewell product and the services provided
Maintain a thorough working proficiency on the lead management system
Liaise with appropriate external agencies to raise the profile of Gracewell Healthcare
Work closely with the Home Manager to widen the profile of all homes in a professional and personable way at all times being mindful of the excellent reputation of the company
If and when required, work on the commissioning of new builds. The initial networking / building relationships with local support groups and businesses
Assist with all relevant home activities and PR events such as national days or indeed the launch of new homes where beneficial to sales and marketing
Meet regularly with the Marketing Communications Manager and PR Company for forward planning, so that they are aware of what you are hoping to achieve in a timely manner.
Maintain excellent working relationships and communications with all relevant health professionals, influencers, local businesses and other potential referral sources.
If required assist with the investigation of any complaints from families
Maintain the company documentation required of a Home Admissions Adviser
Attend any management meetings held by the company when requested to do so.
The Home Admissions Adviser will;
Have a successful track record in consultative sales
Enjoys interacting with seniors
Good organisational and time management skills
Demonstrate a proficiency in computer skills (Microsoft Office) and Gracewell applications with the ability to learn new applications
Able to handle multiple priorities and facilitate small group presentations
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
