While looking around for some products for one of my online events, I stumbled across Markers & Mud, a cute custom paper designs party boutique that offers one of a kind personalized printed products that won’t break your budget! I received two sets of cards, one from the Home. Collection called State Note Cards and a set of Personalized Note Cards.

These are my Home. Collection State Note Cards for my home state, Ohio. Markers & Mud offers all fifty states as well as Germany and Italy. These come in a set of 10 flat note cards with envelopes and are printed on a heavy card stock. Also available is a hammered State Necklace but those are only available in nine different states.
For the personalized note cards, I wanted a set that had the name of my website. The hardest part was choosing the colors and patterns. They have twenty colors and twelve patterns to choose from. The note cards are professionally press printed on fine felt paper that also come with envelopes in sets of 15. I ended up with colors that tied into my website. I do like the contrasting red, it makes it pop!
They offer personalized service from start to finish, I was treated like any other customer as they walked me through the process. For the custom personalized notecards there are several questions you will need to answer to get them started:
-Do you like folded notecards or flat notecards?
-Do you have color preferences?
-Would you like your name or a monogram on the cards?
-Do you have a style you prefer? For example: shabby chic, modern, geometric, etc.
-If there is something specific you are looking for (i.e. owls, floral) please let them know.
Once they receive this information, their designer will begin work on the order. She will create 2-3 samples for you to choose from based on your answers, you can request tweaks to the design. She will communicate with you via email until you are completely satisfied with the design. Once the design is approved by you they will invoice you via paypal. And once the invoice is paid, your designs will be sent for printing, then, once back from the printer, will be shipped directly to you via USPS priority mail. It is usually a 2-3 week turn-around on custom cards (from time of order to your door).
The process was smooth and the shipping was fast. I am thinking on getting several sets for my son’s teachers for next year!
