OXBO Bankside is serving a full ‘Brinner’ menu for in honour of Breakfast Week. Head Chef Paul Bates will be rustling up dishes like gluten-free aubergine pancakes, crushed avocado, rocket and cherry tomatoes (£14), Worcestershire air-dried ham on sourdough with a fried duck egg (£15) and grilled lamb sausages, halloumi cheese and hummus served in warm pitta bread (£15). All dishes can be ordered as small or large and will be served alongside the regular a la carte menu. Try an OXBO special Bloody Mary too.

2Pollen Street Social, Mayfair

Pollen Street Social’s English Breakfast, declared one of Time Out’s top 20 dishes in London for the second year running, offers a grown up take on the British classic. It’s served with a beautiful wooden box, from which two pine-smoked pieces of quail are taken and placed on top of a flavourful wheat and barley ‘bowl of cereal’ risotto with wild mushrooms. The dish is accompanied by a sourdough ‘slice of toast’ topped with a rich quail terrine and a quail stock and lapsang souchong ‘cup of tea’. £17.50.

4Sartoria, Savile Row

Savile Row’s Sartoria, which recently re-opened following a refurbishment, is now serving breakfast. Highlights are Francesco Mazzei’s Eggs Purgatorio (baked eggs, spicy tomato and n’duja sauce with crostoni), The Italian Job (roasted tomatoes, pancetta, grilled polenta, avocado, Tuscan sausage, fried egg) and Eggs Florentina (poached eggs on buttered spinach and cheese sauce). From the bar, guests will be able to choose from homemade granola, cereals and porridge as well as croissants and bread baskets with jams, spreads and honey.

5Arabica Bar & Kitchen, Borough Market

Arabica in Borough Market serves breakfast with a twist. The menu boasts a collection of traditional Middle Eastern dishes such shakshuka and medammas (spicy beans) with flatbread, as well as Levantine versions of English classics including za’atar man’ousheh with eggs or the ‘Arabica fry-up’ with grilled spicy Sujuk. Refreshing juices are made fresh to order, as well as traditional Turkish coffee brewed with green cardamom. Breakfast at Arabica is available on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 8.30am-11.30am.

7Chucs, Mayfair

To celebrate Breakfast Week, Chucs Dover Street in Mayfair is previewing a new signature dishes ahead of the opening of their second site in Westbourne Grove this February. The Cogurt, fresh coconut meat with banana, berries, quinoa and honey, is available at Dover Street for Breakfast Week only. The Dover Street menu offers a varied selection of lighter options, including Homemade Granola with Banana & Yoghurt, and, Muesli with Blackberries & Yoghurt, as well as hearty savoury dishes like Rye Toast, Spicy Avocado & Smoked Salmon, Eggs Benedict and omelettes. Breakfast served from 7.30am on weekdays, 9.30am on Saturdays and 11am on Sundays.

Les Deux Salons on William IV Street near the National Portrait Gallery boasts an array of French breakfast delights, including a selection of pastries and Madelines, French Toast with Seasonal Berries, quintessential Croque-Monsieur and a range of ‘oeuf’ dishes and healthy eating options such as an Anglais, Eggs Benedict and Granola with Yogurt and Honey. Albion in Shoreditch has a menu focussing on long-established British recipes and ingredients with a focus on comfort food. Choices include Fried Duck Eggs on Toast, Omelette and Scrambled Egg and Smoked Salmon, as well as Rose Water Fruit Salad and Yogurt, plus a selection of pastries and danishes. Albion started life in Shoreditch in early 2009 as a cafe, bakery and shop, specialising in no-nonsense, modestly priced, seasonal British food. The new bar at Le Pont de la Tour has just launched Le Brunch chez Pont, a ‘sans fond’ (bottomless) brunch. Priced at £15 for two courses and £20 for three (plus unlimited prosecco for £15) the new menu will include a selection of fresh juices and smoothies, breakfast classics such as Eggs Benedict, French toast and pancakes, and more substantial dishes such as the Brunch Burger with gruyère and bacon. The exceptional views of Tower Bridge are thrown in for free. The bottomless brunch menu is available every Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 3pm.

Kick start your day with the Indian Detox, a blend of nutrii Quark, beetroot and orange juice, turmeric, coriander and agave syrup, or a South Place Elixir with mango juice, birch water and chia seeds.
