A database of commercial properties is on the hunt for a data pirate that has been accessing its proprietary reports for free, according to a Manhattan federal lawsuit.
Reis Services, which operates a database of more than 7,000 neighborhoods throughout the U.S., claims that an information thief in Austin has accessed its database 178 times in a year, downloading 798 reports worth $361,337, according to the New York Post. (more…)
