Fall/Winter 2017 beauty is soft with an emphasis on lip or cheeks. Orlando Santiago, lead makeup artist for the Guerlain team said, "For the beauty look at A Detacher’s Fall/Winter 2017 show, I was inspired by the Victorian era – with pale complexions and muted red lips. I focused on keeping the skin light, radiant and simple; we wanted to keep the makeup complimentary to the entire collection.”

“To begin, I used the Guerlain Météorites Primer all over the face to add a shimmer and radiance without making the skin glossy. In the center of the cheeks, I applied the new Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Lip & Cheek Tint and I then used a light layer of the Guerlain Lingerie De Peau Foundation all over the face and cheeks. We kept the eyes muted since the lips were such a focal point. I used the Guerlain Multi-Perfecting Concealer under the eyes and on the eyelids to correct dark circles. I decided to nude the brow to add dimension and texture to the face using the Guerlain 1-Color Eyeshadow in White Ever mixed with the Multi-Perfecting Concealer in 01.

"For the lip, I wanted to create a dry matte look with smooth edges. I started by preparing the lips with Guerlain KissKiss Liplift. I then layered on the Guerlain Rouge G in Garconne (#25) and smudged the edges for a softer look. To soften the lips even more I used the Guerlain Météorites Compact Powder in 02 Light on top of the lips. To further enhance and illuminate the look I used Guerlain Météorites Compact Powder in 02 Light on the top of the cheeks, forehead, top of the nose and the chin. I also used the Precious Light in 00 on the top of the cheeks, above the eyes and on top of the eyebrows for a radiant finish.
