Maritime Junior Hockey League teams announced on Monday their territorial picks in advance to the league’s entry draft in Amherst, N.S., this weekend.

Among the players, 10 were Quebec Major junior Hockey League property.

The Saint John Sea Dogs had three prospects selected with picks. Simon Elsliger was picked by the Dieppe Commandos, Michael Waugh was selected by the Miramichi Timberwolves and Kevin Mason was picked by the Pictou County Weeks Crushers.

A pair of Moncton Wildcats property were picked. Clark Webster was selected by the Summerside Western Capitals and Sam McGaw was picked by the County Aces.

Meanwhile, two Cape Breton Screaming Eagles prospects were also selected. Jake Martin was picked by Pictou County and Adam McCormick was selected by the Woodstock Slammers.

Victoriaville Tigres’ Daniel Moody (Miramichi), Charlottetown Islanders’ Isaac Knox (Summerside) and Chicotimi Saguenéens’ Alec MacDonald (Truro) were also picked with territorial picks.
