I know little about current Wexford prices but you can be assured, as yet anyway, that the shine went off 'super-commuting' from there to Dublin for work when the Tiger stopped purring. An unfortunate who worked with us (D4 - so fairly accessible to M11 in theory - perpetual roadworks were a real issue on that route) moved to Wexford town around 2006 and had a hard slog of it getting to and fro with a little time for sleep and not much else at home during the week. He left us around 2011 and lost touch, dunno if he's still down there but nearly as soon as setting up house he swore that he wanted out to Wicklow town or points north but was trapped by NE and nobody was interested in buying there anymore in any event.
The reluctance of current buyers to commute such distances may explain some of the current frenzy in the Greater Dublin Area - but Wexford remains very much in the Lesser!
Still - if prices keep rising here and the M11 roadworks are ever completed, you might be seeing the rover's return - time your move wisely!
